What's new in version 0.9.5.4?
Update 0.9.5.4 focuses on rebalancing progression, improving performance, and expanding modding support. The new Personal Training system, expanded daily stories, and new profession types add more strategic depth, while changes to comfort, energy, and income scaling help control power creep. Mod creators gain extensive new tools for targeting professions, traits, and story outcomes. Numerous fixes improve interaction filtering, perk application, event rewards, and save consistency, resulting in a smoother overall experience.
π§ **Update 0.9.5.4** brings balance tweaks, modding improvements, new systems, and plenty of fixes to improve gameplay flow and performance.
**Gameplay & Balance**
* Interactions now depend on the Manager - limited to **2 + Manager level per day**
* Building level now has a stronger impact on gains and losses
* Money scaling slowed slightly for better progression balance
* Energy costs increased to limit how many stories a worker can complete per day
* Daily stories limited to **1 + Building Level** or **Reputation / 200**
* Failure calculation changed to **Roll - Effective skill** - skilled workers lose less
* Split mediocre result consequences to be more challenging
* Trait earnings impact reduced to limit power creep
* Comfort changes:
* Recruited workers desired comfort set to 4
* Base recruitment comfort set to 4 or 3 depending on choices
* Comfort -1 applied to daily energy regeneration
* Comfort bonus doubled when resting
* Removed libido bonus from skill calculations in worker details
