This update expands the campaign with new story content and opens up the barracks as a new explorable area filled with items to discover. Players can enjoy additional character interactions in the safe zone, along with 34 new hairstyle options, expanded color customization, and an exclusive Patron hairstyle. New xeno-themed tattoos can now be unlocked through Echo, who also receives a dedicated codex entry. Gameplay balance has been improved with updated corruption scaling for better late-game progression, while the new Utility skill category helps organize support-focused abilities. Audio files have been optimized to reduce file size and improve loading times, and Adaptive Nanites has been fixed to provide its intended healing effect.

The combat system has also received significant changes, with 9 damage types instead of 3 for an improved experience. Some skills have also been rebalanced or given new damage types, making them interesting picks in different situations.
